Toplet is a Mac app that keeps a window in front. You pay once for a license. There is no subscription and no later automatic charge.

Email us within 7 days of purchase and you can ask for a full refund. Waffo Pancake handles the full card number. Our servers do not store it.

Support, billing, refunds, and privacy go to jiangkp.indie@gmail.com.

1. Acceptance

Welcome to Toplet. An individual operator offers Toplet (“we”). We are not an incorporated company, so these terms do not list a registered office. The product name is Toplet.

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) cover how you learn about, buy, and use the Toplet macOS app (the “Service”) through https://toplet.app. The Service keeps a window you choose above other windows, and includes picture in picture, crop, opacity, and hotkeys. It requires macOS 14 or later.

By buying, activating a license, or otherwise using the Service, you confirm that you: (a) are at least 18 years old at the time of purchase; (b) have read and agree to these Terms; (c) agree to the Privacy Policy; and (d) may bind yourself, or the organization you represent.

If you do not agree, do not buy or use Toplet. If you keep using it after we update these Terms, you accept the updated Terms.

2. The service

2.1 What we provide

Toplet is digital software you install on your Mac. It keeps notes, a tutorial, a video, or a reference in front of other windows. The purchase is a one-time license. There is no monthly or yearly fee, and there are no credits.

Toplet does not call a third-party AI model, and it does not generate text, images, or video.

2.2 Delivery

After payment is confirmed, we send the license to the email you entered at checkout and provide the download. It is a digital good. You can use it on the number of Macs you bought as soon as it is delivered. Refunds are in section 7.

2.3 Frames stay on the Mac

The picture of a pinned window is made and shown on your Mac. We do not receive those frames. See the Privacy Policy.

3. Checkout email and license

3.1 No account

The app does not ask you to register or set a password. The email you enter at checkout is how we reach you about the order and the license. Keep that inbox under your control.

3.2 Looking after the license

You look after the license and the activation on each Mac. If a license leaks, email jiangkp.indie@gmail.com. Do not publish the license, and do not run it on more Macs at the same time than you bought.

3.3 Buying for an organization

If you buy for a company or another organization, you confirm that you may bind that organization to these Terms.

4. Plans and price

Both plans are a one-time license. There is no billing period, and the purchase does not renew itself:

Prices and what each plan includes are on the Chinese pricing section and the English pricing section. The checkout page for that order controls the name, amount, currency, and seat count. A later price change applies only to new orders. It does not change an order you already paid.

Activating the same license again on the same Mac does not use another seat. The end of a promotion does not reduce seats you already bought.

The license has no end date. We may ship updates. If a future major version is sold separately, the pricing page for that version will say whether this purchase includes it. These Terms do not add unreleased major versions to this purchase in advance.

5. Payment

5.1 One charge

When you confirm payment at checkout, you authorize a single charge for the amount shown on that page. The authorization is for that charge only. We do not charge again on a monthly, yearly, or other cycle, and there is no automatic top-up.

5.2 Tax

Listed prices do not include tax unless the checkout page says they do. Waffo Pancake, the merchant of record, calculates, collects, and remits applicable VAT, GST, or sales tax at checkout.

5.3 Who processes payment

Waffo Pancake processes the payment and is the merchant of record for that payment. The full card number, expiry, and security code are handled only by Waffo Pancake. They do not pass through our servers, and we do not store them.

6. Cancellation

Toplet has no subscription, so there is no next charge to cancel. After the payment in section 5, we do not charge you again because you did not cancel.

You may stop using Toplet at any time. Delete the app from the Mac and stop using the license. Whether money already paid comes back is covered in section 7.

To ask for a refund, email jiangkp.indie@gmail.com from the purchase address and include the order id. We reply within 2 business days.

After purchase is open, you can release this Mac’s seat in the app. Until that control is in the app, use the same email and name the Mac you want released. Releasing a Mac does not refund the purchase by itself.

7. Refunds

7.1 In general

The license is delivered when payment is confirmed. Outside the cases in this section, and outside rights the law does not let you waive, we do not refund a purchase after 7 days.

7.2 When we refund

7.3 How to ask

Email jiangkp.indie@gmail.com from the purchase address. Include the order id and the reason. We confirm within 2 business days. A refund that qualifies goes back to the original payment method within 5 to 10 business days. Waffo Pancake sends it.

When a full refund is completed, the license for that order ends. Stop using Toplet and delete the app. If we refund only a duplicate charge, the valid license stays in force.

7.4 What we do not refund

8. Billing questions

If you think a charge is wrong, email jiangkp.indie@gmail.com before you open a dispute with your bank. Include the purchase email, the date, and the amount. We reply within 2 business days and correct a confirmed billing error within 5 business days.

The receipt email identifies the order as Toplet. If a card charge is unfamiliar, write to us with the date and amount before you dispute it.

9. Intellectual property and window contents

9.1 The license

You receive a personal, non-exclusive license to use Toplet on the number of Macs you bought. You may not resell that license. We keep the rights in the software, the site, and the name Toplet.

9.2 Window contents

What you pin stays with you or with the person who already owns it. We do not receive those frames, and we do not use them to train a model.

9.3 Your right to show it

You are responsible for having the right to show those windows on this Mac.

10. Acceptable use

You may use Toplet for lawful personal or work purposes, such as keeping a tutorial, notes, a video, or a reference in front.

You agree not to:

11. Data and privacy

Purchases and use are covered by the Privacy Policy. Card data is handled by Waffo Pancake, our PCI-DSS payment processor, and is not stored on our servers.

If you email us to delete personal information, we delete what we do not still need for the license, a refund, fraud prevention, or accounting. How long order and license records stay is in the Privacy Policy.

12. Disclaimers and liability

12.1 As available

The Service is provided as it is and as it is available. We do not promise that it fits every purpose, behaves the same on every Mac, or never stops. Whether a window can stay on top, and whether you can still click and type, depends on that app and on system permissions.

12.2 Cap

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages. For a claim, our total liability is no more than the amount you actually paid us for Toplet in the 12 months before the claim.

12.3 Liability the law keeps

Some laws do not allow certain liability to be excluded or capped. That liability stays in place.

13. Term and ending

These Terms last while you use the Service. The license itself has no subscription end date.

We may suspend or revoke a license if you seriously break these Terms, if we suspect fraud, or if the law requires it.

If we stop selling before we deliver the license, for a reason other than your breach, we refund what you paid for what we did not deliver. A copy already delivered to your Mac may keep being used under these Terms.

Email jiangkp.indie@gmail.com to ask us to delete personal information we hold. If a record is still needed to check seats, we will say which record remains and until when.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the law of the place where the operator habitually resides. That does not take away a consumer-protection right in your country that cannot be waived.

Before you start a lawsuit or another formal proceeding, email jiangkp.indie@gmail.com. We will try to understand the problem and resolve it first.

15. General

We may update these Terms. For a material change, we email the purchase address at least 14 days before it takes effect and change the date at the top of this page. A price change applies only to new orders, as section 4 says. If you buy or keep using Toplet after that notice period, you accept the updated Terms.

If one provision is held invalid, the rest stay in effect. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about Toplet.

This English text and the Chinese text are meant to say the same thing. If they differ, this English text controls.

16. Contact

One mailbox handles all of the following, and a person reads it:

We do not publish a phone number. The individual operator does not publish a mailing address on this page.

Checking the box at checkout, or buying or using Toplet, means you have read and agree to these Terms.
